IN VIVO Blog Caption Contest! Pfizer/Wyeth Edition
OK readers: the official caption for this Business Wire photo is "Jeffrey B. Kindler, chief executive of Pfizer, left, and Bernard Poussot, chief executive of Wyeth, discuss the planned combination of their companies, announced in New York Monday, January 26, 2009. Pfizer agreed to acquire Wyeth, a research-based global pharmaceutical company, for $68 billion, creating the world's premier biopharmaceutical company."
We think you can do better than that.

"I'm leaning towards, 'Wyzer'"...
Or better yet, "None the Wyzer"
"Look, you can stay, just try to keep the wastebasket under a thousand..."
Let me help you pronounce the name of our newly merged company...it's pronounced FI-zer.
We always try to combine elements of our M&A partners. For example, we adopted the 'ph' from Pharmacia, and you'll notice the first syllable of Pfizer rhymes with the first syllable of Wyeth.
Welcome to Pfizer.
Titanic, meet Iceberg. Iceberg, meet Titanic
He-he. I now pronounce you unemployed...No seriously, Bernie.
If they want to drive real value, they'll take a more technological bent to their integrated brand, calling the new company "Wy-Pfi".
"So, Jeff, you really are as dumb as your predecessors."
"Not only will I squeeze your hand til you say uncle, Bernie, but I will squeeze every unnecessary penny from your payroll."
Go Phillies? Oops, wrong blog
two men shakes hands.....let's make a deal.....Pfizer has experience .....let's create "Wypzer".
And, with one cold handshake Drugula took the other man's warm, suntanned life (along with thousands of jobs).
It suddenly dawned on Bernie that the phrase "golden handshake" might simply mean that Jeff didn't wash after visiting the men's room...
